NECAA is proud to align with local athletic leaders, including the Braswell High School Booster Club, in creating a community-rooted athletic pipeline that supports children from the earliest stages of development through high school competition.
The National Early Childhood Athletic Association (NECAA) is proud to announce a new partnership with the Braswell High School Football Booster Club — a strategic alliance that marks a major milestone in our mission to provide developmental, character-driven athletic training for youth ages 5–12.
This collaboration reinforces NECAA’s commitment to creating a pipeline of excellence, bridging the gap between early youth sports and high school competition. By working hand-in-hand with the Braswell Booster Club, we aim to:
- Support athletes from their earliest stages of development through their formative school years
- Offer character development, mentorship, and top-tier coaching
- Align our programming with the expectations and competitive standards of high school athletics
“This partnership is about preparing our young athletes for more than just the next game—it’s about preparing them for the next level of life,” said Edgar S. Moore, NECAA Founder and President. “Coach Laster and the Braswell Booster Club have shown incredible leadership, and we’re excited to support their mission while amplifying ours.”
As part of this initiative, NECAA will:
- Provide access to certified coaches and trainers, including former NFL athletes
- Host football camps and character-building clinics in coordination with Braswell feeder programs
- Encourage early exposure to structured team dynamics, accountability, and leadership
Coach Laster, the Head Football Coach at Braswell High School, has expressed strong support for NECAA’s mission and has even offered his time to train or mentor youth and coaches at upcoming NECAA events. This endorsement sends a powerful message to families across the community — youth development matters, and we’re stronger when we work together.
Stay tuned for our upcoming Media Day Event and future announcements, including collaborative programming and spotlight stories from both NECAA participants and Braswell athletes.
